I have lot's of ideas that don't make it to the page because the inner editor shoots them down. NaNoWriMo isn't so much about writing the next great novel as it is about letting the stream of conscientious flow without restriction. It might be mostly crap but maybe there will be a few gems in their too.

Google Chrome OS and native code execution

Google has announced Chrome OS. I noticed a lot of poor ratings for some applications. There would be a comment like "x.xx is too much for this sort of application." It was apparent that very few of these people had actually bought the application they rated poorly. People who have not purchased an app should not be allowed to rate it. A rating by person who has used the application is much more valuable. I can make my own subjective opinion about features vs price. I don't need everyone else clouding the ratings with their subjective opinions. Now commenting on the price is valid. This is valuable feedback to the seller.

I think Apple will have to do something. The whole rating and comment system has the potential to be a war zone. The iPhone applications compete with one another in a much more direct way than the songs. I'm just waiting for some developer to promote their application in their competitors application's comments.

iPhone Remote

The iPhone Remote app is pretty cool. It lets you drive iTunes from your iPhone or iPod touch. It will display your music library and playlists. It will also let you drive your Apple TV. However I have some issues with the implementation when showing video. You can browse your movies and TV Shows like you can with the music but the TV shows are listed in alphabetical order by episode name. Listing by episode number would be much more useful. Also it crashed the Apple TV a couple of times. So they have a few kinks to work out yet.
